Wine Lovers Set To Flock to Sydney

As the weather slowly warms up and a day out doesn’t require a scarf, jacket and sweater, festivals become exciting again. On 14th and 15th of October, Rosehill Racecourse will host the Sydney Wine Festival.

Over 60 wineries will be there over the weekend serving solely NSW wines. This is a key differentiator for a wine or food event, showcasing just the produce of the state. All wine lovers are guaranteed to find vineyards who they might not have heard of, taste, drink, enjoy. The Sydney Wine Festival will accomodate all the key NSW wine regions such as the Hunter Valley, Mudgee, Bowral, Orange, the Shoalhaven and more. You’ll be able to save the drive across NSW with a simple trip to Rosehill!

The food list also looks amazing with cuisines to suit any taste, including cheese vendors obviously. Ticket holders will also go into the draw to win a trip to two to Mudgee or the Hunter Valley where you’ll be able to visit the vineyard in person rather than at a booth.

Tickets are selling online for $25 or at the door for $30. Ticket prices include a festival branded wine glass, 10 wine tasting tickets, a festival program, free live entertainment and free parking. That actually works out to be a very reasonable event with most generally charging $30 just to park! With so many wineries on offer though we’ll totally understand if you use alternate modes of transport.
