If you haven’t noticed, it’s warming up, not because of climate change but because it’s Spring and Summer is literally around the corner. We’re so excited to step outside, be warmed by the summer sun and BBQ and cooled down by a fresh beverage. Rekorderlig have a new cider on the market just in time for this moment.
Hard Pear and Hard Apple is sold in a 330ml can as a pack of ten or in four 330ml bottles. It is the most straight forward label from Rekorderlig featuring bold text to insinuate the name of the contents.
The Hard Pear was sent to EFTM for a taste test and we found it really enjoyable. The flavours are great and will be so great for a pre BBQ drink or beyond dessert. The flavours aren’t overpowering or too acidic either. What we did notice however was the higher than normal ABV at 6.5%. This means you do need to be a little more careful with how much you drink to ensure you aren’t over the limit or terribly drunk on cider. One can does equal 1.7 standard drinks.
The higher alcohol percentage is influenced by the European market with this is slightly more normal than in Australia. On Dan Murphy’s the new cider is already rating above 4 in 5 stars, people beyond myself are enjoying it! The new Rekorerlig cider range is available now at your favourite liquor store.
