The $400,000 Lamborghini for the family that goes off-road: Urus finally launches

Got a lazy $400,000 (or so) for a new family* car?  Problem solved – the new Lamborghini Urus will be available in just a few months and it can both fit the family and tackle the dusty outback; should you so choose.

A long time in development, I feel like this vehicle is old now, having driven it time and time again in Forza Horizon 3 – but in the real world it’s only now getting serious.

With V8 power under the hood and a 0-100 time of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 305km/h this is one hell of a Soccer mum’s car right?

You’ve got to hand it to them though, it does look unique and very Lamborghini.

Four-wheel drive, rear-wheel steering and torque vectoring all sound good, but the true test will be on the Putty Road in NSW.

But – for most of us, it’s just something nice to look at…

*Maximum two kids, it’s a four seater
