eBay have updated their Google Assistant integration with specific help for people looking for a Valentine’s Day gift.
After launching early on the Google Assistant platform, eBay have simply added some smarts to their Artificial Intelligence interface to allow users to ask questions about buying gifts for their partners.
Like most “bots” the eBay integration with Google Assistant uses questions to narrow down your search, getting small amounts of information from you about your partner before suggesting gifts she might like.
The kinds of questions you will be asked about the missus might include her date-night preferences, hobbies, ideal getaways and more – all of which help build a profile for the gift suggestions.
All you need is a Google Assistant enabled device such as Google Home, Google Home Mini or JBL and Sony’s Google speakers.
Or you could just get her some roses.
