Where The Big Names in Music will be for the Melbourne Grand Prix

For anyone who has been to the Melbourne Grand Prix, they will certainly know that the event is far from being just a single race on Sunday. It’s a four day event full of various motorsports, entertainment in the sky, food and drink, plus musical performances. It’s a festival, not an event.

Last year, and again this year, Heineken are a major sponsor of the Australian Grand Prix and just like last year, they’re bringing some big names with them for some big shows.

The biggest day for the music is Saturday, it is also qualifying day at the track so you should make sure you’re there anyway. The line-up on Saturday includes the highly anticipated Black Eyed Peas DJ Set featuring Apl.de.ap and Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas. We’ll also see UK star Luciana, Brisbane’s DJ/producer Young Franco with singer/songwriter Thandi Phoenix and local artists Nite Theory featuring DJ producer Andy Murphy. Luciana will perform a number of her chart-topping hits, including ‘I Like That’, which achieved double platinum sales in Australia.

Young Franco and Thandi Phoenix will team up to perform a mix of their electronic and dance sounds. The duo will perform hits including ‘Drop Your Love’, ‘Miss You’ and Thandi’s new single, ‘My Way Out’ (out March 23), produced by UK based, chart-topping band Rudimental.

Melbourne based electronic band Nite Theory, featuring DJ producer Andy Murphy, are currently one of the hottest new live acts on the scene in 2018. They will take to the Heineken® stage, to perform their smash-hit ‘Just A Dream’, which recently hit number two on the ARIA Club Trackers Chart.

Heineken Village will offer event goers a lively atmosphere to enjoy the on-track action, music performances, Heineken, Heineken 3 and Birra Moretti, and a range of local dining options.
