With Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference set to kick off on Tuesday Morning the rumour mill is in overdrive with thoughts about the next iOS version, but also with possible product launches too. It seems possible the iPhone SE could get a follow up if a screen protector online is any indication.
It’s a long shot, but you’ve gotta take it – prolific leaker Sonny Dickson has published a photo of what he claims to be a screen protector for the iPhone SE2 alongside a similar product for the iPhone X.
If it’s true, and this is a screen protector for an actual Apple product, it’s either the iPhone 8s (next generation phone) which we would anticipate being announced in September, or as Sonny says, it could be the size of the next iPhone SE.
The SE was a lower cost iPhone, with the guts at the time of the iPhone 6, but the body of the iPhone 5s. Could it be that we get the guts of the iPhone 8, in the body of an iPhone 6/7/8 but with a new and more advanced screen – featuring the now famous Notch for the cameras at the front.
We don’t know, and we won’t know until Tuesday Morning. Regardless, expect more leaks over the days ahead.
