With Spring right around the corner we can stop drinking mulled wine and move onto colder, more refreshing beverages. We’ve just tried mixing up a Boulevardier which stars a whiskey we hadn’t tried before.
Master distiller Jimmy Russell and his son Eddie have combined over 80 years experience in the industry to create a benchmark in small batch bourbon. Russell’s Reserve has all the class and pedigree of a fine malt American whiskey. Their 10 year old Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey is the star of this cocktail.
And so… the Boulevardier
Ingredients:
Method: Add ingredients into mixing glass (if you don’t have one, use a coffee travel mug, works a treat!) with ice. Stir well to desired temperature and dilution, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass (or scotch glass). Express some essential oils from an orange zest and use it as a garnish.
It’s a very simple cocktail, and that means more time to chat to your mates and enjoy a drink together.
