Attention Brisbane: Tomb Raider has come to King George Square

Are you a Brisbanian with even the slightest interest in the Tomb Raider game series? Great news! To coincide with the release of the game, today and tomorrow Square Enix are inviting you down to King George Square for an immersive Shadow of the Tomb Raider experience.

Even if you’re not a Tomb Raider fan this is one of those nice community events that everyone can enjoy. King George Square will be transformed with a rock climbing wall and green screen technology to broadcast your adventure onto the billboards around the square.

If you’re not one for intense action or rock climbing (I don’t blame you… it’s really tiring) then head over the cosmetic area! Square Enix have released that;

“Makeup artists will be on site to Lara-fy guests along with wigs, bows and arrows, transforming participants into a fully-fledged action hero.”

Now this isn’t all family-friendly gimmick – naturally you’ll be be able to get your hands on the game and really get a feel for it before you pick up a copy. I certainly enjoyed my time playing a few weeks ago.

This event is completely free and live DJ’s will be pumping tracks through the area to keep the vibe going for the next two days, get down there and enjoy!
