Seven or five-year unlimited warranties are not new. Just ask Kia or Hyundai, there has even been whisperings of a mammoth 10 year offering if need be from Kia. But now Volkswagen joins the party on selected models, at least until December 31. This will also include driveaway pricing .
“From the 80,000 customer surveys that VGA conducts annually, we see strong response to our driveaway pricing and finance offers,” Volkswagen Group Australia Managing Director Michael Bartsch said.
“Customer reaction to Five Year Warranty will be informative.”
I’d hate to say “thanks scoop” but this kind of offering from a premium European brand is overdue.
