Panasonic announce latest Lumix cameras

With nearly 20 years of history, the Lumix range by Panasonic is an incredibly well known and trusted brand of digital camera. Today Panasonic announced the latest two additions to the Lumix brand, the FZ1000 II and TZ95.

FZ1000 II

Starting with the FZ1000 II, it’s a hybrid bridge camera equipped with 4K recording capability at 25 frames, a 20.1 megapixel sensor and 16x optical zoom.

With all of the emphasis these days on DSLR photography, this camera looks to be a seemingly affordable solution in an age where photographs last a lifetime.

The FZ1000 II is the successor to the DMC-FZ1000 and while we don’t know what it will retail for, it’ll be a camera to keep your eyes out for.

FZ1000 II

The other release, the TZ95 is the latest of Panasonic’s ‘Travel Zoom’ line and is built with a 30x optical zoom! I really don’t know much of an operational use for that outside of creeping on the unsuspecting public or taking a really intense photo of a landmark, but hey the power is in your hands.

TZ95

Naturally it’s fully capable of taking 4K images and video that are sure to look great utilizing the in-built stabilization.

Panasonic have also mounted the rear monitor on a rotating axis so you’re able to flip it 180-degrees and land that sweet selfie. There’s one sure fire way to get a few more likes on Instagram…

TZ95

The pricing and availability for the TZ95 is still unknown but from all accounts it will make a great little travel companion. Stay tuned for reviews of great products like these and more here at EFTM.
