Bridgestone and new tech combine at the Brisbane Truck Show

In the trucking world the Brisbane Truck show is a massive deal, which is why Bridgestone has chosen the show to reveal its new commercial fleet solution. The new technology is all about enhancing its Total Tyre Management commercial offering.
Bridgestone Australia & New Zealand Managing Director, Stephen Roche said, “Bridgestone Australia and New Zealand has been continually evolving its commercial solutions over the past few years, and we’re excited to be able to launch a new offering at the Brisbane Truck Show,”

“There’s no denying the importance technology is playing in the trucking industry, evidenced in part by the rise of telematics and significant advancements to safety systems that manufacturers have developed. Our stand at the Brisbane Truck Show will showcase our own business solutions technology.”

Bridgestone will also showcase the World Solar Challenge solar car. Team Arrow are Brisbane based and are supported by the company.

“Contrary to belief, there is a strong link between Bridgestone’s global partnership with the World Solar Challenge event, and the trucking industry. The low-rolling resistance technology developed for solar car tyres has direct impact on the development of the fuel-saving Ecopia truck tyres that so many customers have come to depend on,”Mr Roche added.

You can also check out a range of steer, drive and trailer tyres from both Bridgestone and Firestone. The locally based Bandag will be showing its retread options.

If you’re headed to the show look out for the Bridgestone stand in the main hall between Meritor and BPW Transpec.
