We have known for a while now that Dyson has plans to make an EV car. Today Dyson have gone on the front by publishing an email from James Dyson about his intentions. In the email he states that the “vehicle product will be entirely designed by Dyson, manufactured by Dyson and sold by Dyson”
There’s even a former RAF field in the UK called the Hullavington Airfield that has a hanger set aside for Dyson’s Automotive team. You can find the email in its entirety below. Additionally, Dyson has released patents and sketches that are light on detail but do reveal how Dyson plans on not just reinventing the wheel, but the entire car.
James Dyson goes on to add that they are on track for a 2021 launch, very interesting times indeed.
