JBL and Under Amour launch four new wireless sports headphones

JBL and Under Amour have today announced four different sports wireless headphones. The Train, React, PIVOT and the True Wireless FLASH are said to use new and improved technology plus a more optimal fit.

Each model scores JBL’s Charged Sound which is a signature sound focussing on bass, clear mids and smooth highs to enrich your workout. Bionic Hearing with what JBL calls TalkThru Technology allows users to push a button which lowers the music and also amplifies your speech, allowing for easier quick chats.

The UA Sport Wireless Train model is purpose built for the gym, being strong with solid grip materials for when things get sweaty. The train has a 16-hour battery life and are on-ear style headphones. They have a RRP of $299.95.

The UA Sport Wireless React has a lightweight, in-ear design. It’s aimed at runners and high performers. For extra protection the UA Sport Wireless Pivot’s over-ear hooks really ensure they’re going nowhere even on the most intense circuits.

The earbuds are largely aluminium and feature an IPX7 waterproof rating. Both deliver 9-hours of battery life via a two-hour charge. Letting the outside world in is made possible via Ambient Aware technology. This enables athletes to hear important ambient noises while still enjoying their music. Both the React and PIVOT are priced at $199.95

The True Wireless FLASH headphones gets rid of wires altogether and have 25 hours of battery life via a rugged charging case. They will set you back $249.95.

Marcus Fry, Brand Activation Director of AUNZ at HARMAN says: “UA Sport Wireless React and UA Sport Wireless Pivot headphones are made to sustain any workout both in and out of the gym. With Bionic Hearing, athletes can break through their limits and stay in control of their music, powered by the incredible sound quality of JBL.”

Brian Pitstick, DirectDirector of BD & Strategic Partnerships at UA Digital says of the partnership:

“Under Armour’s mission is to make athletes better. To meet the demands of peak performers, we partnered with JBL, a leading sound expert, to develop a cutting edge, truly wireless sport headphone that removes all distractions.”

UA Sport Wireless Headphones are now available at JB HI FI and UnderArmour.com.
