Arlo Pro 3 launches in Australia

We love a security camera here at EFTM, and we’ve tried them all. One of our favourites is the Arlo range, and they just keep getting better with a new “pro” camera launching next month in Australia.

The Arlo Pro 3 will sit above the Pro 2 in features and quality, but still below the 4K Arlo Ultra cameras which launched earlier this year.

A starter kit with two Arlo Pro 3 cameras and a Smart Hub will retail for $949, with new Pro 3 cameras alone going for $419.

Pro 3 features 2K resolution with HDR as well as a built-in spotlight like the Ultra cameras have to give a colour night vision.

They have a 160 degree field of view, and like all Arlo Wire-Free cameras will work indoor and outdoor.

2K resolution equates to 80% more pixels than the previous Pro camera, and every bit of quality helps folks.

Brad Little from Arlo says “The innovative Arlo Pro 3, our new Pro Series flagship product, provides users with more details and clarity when monitoring their home or business day and night,”

“Have ultimate peace of mind with Arlo Smart’s artificial intelligence offering a customisable experience allowing users to take direct control of their security.”

Pro 3 takes on the “Ultra” form factor and design, and battery.

We’ll have a full review of the Arlo Pro 3 cameras soon here at EFTM!
