Fetch TV renews BBC deal with BBC Brit & BBC Earth – plus stacks of Top Gear Episode!

If you’re a fan of Top Gear and/or British TV shows then Fetch TV has you covered.

As part of the renewal of their longstanding agreement with BBC, Fetch TV will be a launch partner for the BBC Earth channel next week on October 10th.

Additionally, they will launch a new Virtual Channel called BBC Brit. BBC Brit will be presented by Fetch as a Virtual Playlist of on-demand content which appears to users like any normal TV channel does.

The deal also renews the BBC First, BBC UKTV and CBeebies channels along with BBC World News.

And for rev heads and fans of Top Gear new and old, over 300 hours of Top Gear episodes from Season 2 right through to Season 26 will be available through the Fetch on demand.

Scott Lorson at Fetch TV says “We are delighted to expand our partnership with the BBC, and to introduce two great new channels to the Fetch line up – BBC Earth and BBC Brit.  The BBC produces some of the highest quality programming in the world and attracts an extremely loyal and passionate fan base.  We are excited to give Fetch subscribers access to even more of the programs that they love, and with great flexibility in how they can be watched. With a market leading six BBC channels plus European football on Optus Sport, Fetch is the obvious choice for fans of great British entertainment.”

While Jon Penn at BBC here in Australia says  said: “We are very excited to expand our partnership with Fetch.  Since the inception of the partnership in 2015, Fetch has been a key part of the growth story for our world-leading BBC channels in Australia.  We look forward to offering Fetch subscribers six premium BBC channels, including the exclusive launch of BBC Brit for the first time in Australia.”

The BBC Channels are part of Fetch’s channel packs which are either $6 a month for groups, or $20 per month for the lot.
