Sennheiser shows off their latest over-ear headphones offering options for Active Noise Cancelling on a budget

The personal audio game is getting interesting, and at CES we’re getting more entries in the market, this time with Sennheiser announcing their new range of over-ear headphones. They’ve announced the HD 450BT and HD 350BT, with the major difference being that the HD450BT includes Active Noise Cancelling (ANC).

The wireless headphones offer a comfortable audio experience with loads of features including a 30-hour battery life with rapid charging via USB-C and instant access to either Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.

Running on Bluetooth 5.0, and with support for the latest wireless audio codecs including AAC, AptX and AptX Low Latency which all allow for perfect audio synchronisation with video.

Both headphones connect to the Sennheiser Smart Control app, offers access to battery status, firmware updates as well as an equaliser to tune audio settings to your personal taste. A podcast mode in the app can also increase intelligibility of podcasts, audio books and other speech content.

You’ll be able to get the HD350BT and HD450BT in either black or white colour options, with the HD350BT going on-sale from February for AU 9.95 / NZ 9.95, while the HD 450BT with ANC will be available from March for AU 9.95 / NZ 9.95.
