One of the fastest-growing category’s of tech isn’t showing signs of slowing down, D-Link has announced a new home security bundle for those looking to get into or expand their smart home systems.
The Smart DIY Security Bundle includes a Full HD Wi-Fi Camera which also doubles as a Smart Home Hub but also includes a Smart Door and Window Sensor, and a Smart Motion Sensor.
This means you can get alerts to any motion in your home, alerts when your windows and doors open and of course, keep an eye on things using the Wi-Fi camera
D-Link’s cameras allow for recording of motion detected video to the cloud or to local storage.
D-Link Aussie MD Graeme Reardon said, “The mydlink Smart DIY Security Bundle takes your Smart Home experience to the next level with devices using AI-based Intelligent Video Analytics and Zigbee™ connection technology. This Smart DIY Security Bundle features a Smart Full HD Wi-Fi Camera with Built-in Smart Home Hub that can trigger amazing automations around your home combined with the Smart Motion Sensor as well as the Smart Door and Window Sensor. It also works seamlessly with the mydlink app, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.”
Critically, the bundle is Smart Home compatible, working with existing mydlink Smart Home devices, as well as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
Think about using your Smart Door Sensor to trigger lights coming on with Google or Amazon integration.
The door and window sensors have a multi-year battery life, as does the Motion Sensor which you can use to get alerts of motion on your smartphone.
D-Link’s entire Security Bundle will set you back $299.95 and is available now.
