HP has announced details on their new range of personal computing – and it’s a LOT. The announcement includes new HP EliteBook, EliteOne and EliteDesk and ProDesk PCs, as well as Zbook Firefly laptops, and some new monitors as well.
In the Elitebook range, HP has announced seven new models, the HP EliteBook x360 1030 G7, HP EliteBook x360 1040 G7, HP EliteBook 835 G7, HP EliteBook 845 G7, and HP EliteBook 855 G7, HP EliteBook 830 G7, HP EliteBook 840 G7, and HP EliteBook 850 G7.
HP sees their Elitebook range as ‘designed for superb connection and collaboration for powerful business resiliency’ and to back this they’re offering optional LTE connectivity.
HP will supply 10th Gen Intel CPUs in the HP EliteBook x360 830 G7,HP EliteBook 800 G7 Series PCs, P EliteBook x360 1030 G7 and HP EliteBook x360 1040 G7 PCs, while the HP EliteBook 805 Series PCs will include AMD Ryzen PRO processors with Radeon VEGA graphics and finally the P EliteBook 805 G7 and HP EliteBook 800 G7 Series PCs will include options for both AMD and Intel CPUs.
HP is spruiking their HP EliteBook x360 1030 G7 and HP EliteBook x360 1040 G7 as premium laptops, pointing out that the units are 6.3% smaller than the previous generation and have an impressive 89% screen-to-body ratio – they also include a battery which promises ‘up to 29 hours of battery life’.
As well as offering CPU options on the HP EliteBook 805 G7 and HP EliteBook 800 G7 Series PCs customers will also be able to choose between 13.3″, 14″, and 15.6″ diagonal screens.
The HP EliteBook 805 Series PCs with it’s AMD Ryzen CPU clocks in at their thinnest laptop with an AMD CPU to date. The HP EliteBook 835 G7 from this series is also promising up to 24 hours of battery life – not bad. The HP EliteBook 830 G7 with it’s 10th gen Intel CPU will be slightly less with up to 23 hours and 15 minutes of battery life.
Finally, the HP EliteBook x360 830 G7 is being positioned as a mobile platform, with HP saying it’s ‘one of the first mainstream business convertible with 4×4 LTE antennas’ so be prepared to be contactable anywhere! The laptop will come with a 360-degree hinge, so you’ll be working the way you like.
HP’s EliteDesk range includes the HP EliteOne 800 All-in-One G6 PC, as well as three additional desktop models:
The HP EliteOne 800 All-in-One G6 PC is powered by 10th Gen Intel CoreTM processor, and comes with a 23.8” or 27” diagonal screen, driven by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER graphics, which HP says makes it the ‘world’s first commercial VR capable All-in-One’.
HP is also announcing new HP ProDesk 600 G6 Series and HP ProDesk 400 Series PCs, though information on them is less than sparse, except that they have ‘full redesign and versatile options with quieter and energy-efficient designs for growing businesses’.
HP’s new ZBook Firefly 15 and ZBook Firefly 14 will offer users ‘pro-level performance, a captivating viewing experience, and new ways to collaborate’. Both models are MIL-Spec 810G rated, and offer up to 17 hours of battery life.
Besides the obvious difference in screen size, HP says the two models:
‘At 8.8% smaller and 5.2% lighter compared to the previous generation, the ZBook Firefly 14 is one of the world’s smallest and lightest mobile workstations. The ZBook Firefly 15 is HP’s lightest ever 15” mobile workstation as well with HP saying it’s 9.5% smaller and 1.8% lighter compared to the previous generation, with the 15″ display offering up to an 86% screen-to-body ratio’.

HP has announced limited availability information, but no information on pricing, advising that information will be closer to launch. So, when can you get your hands on these new models? HP Says:
• The HP EliteBook x360 1030 G7 and HP EliteBook x360 1040 G7 are expected to be available in

• The HP EliteBook 835 G7, HP EliteBook 845 G7, and HP EliteBook 855 G7 are expected to be
available in August. Pricing will be available closer to product availability.
• The HP EliteBook 830 G7, HP EliteBook 840 G7, and HP EliteBook 850 G7 are expected to be
available in June. Pricing will be available closer to product availability.
• HP EliteBook x360 830 G7 is expected to be available in July. Pricing will be available closer to
product availability.
• HP EliteOne 800 G6 All-in-One PC is expected to be available in September. Pricing will be
available closer to product availability.
• HP Collaboration All-in-One G6 with Zoom Rooms is expected to be available in September.

• HP EliteDesk 800 G6 Desktop Mini PC is expected to be available in July. Pricing will be available
closer to product availability.
• HP EliteDesk 800 G6 Small Form Factor PC is expected to be available in September. Pricing will
