Optus announces a new family plan with 250GB to share across 4 SIMs

Optus has today announced a new family plan, which includes 250GB of data, unlimited Talk & Text and more, to share between the family for just $149 per month.

The plan includes four SIM cards – 1 Primary SIM and 3 Family SIM’s – with 250GB of data pooled for use by all, working out to $37.25 per SIM and 62.5GB of data each. For those with larger families you can also choose to add up to four extra Optus Kids Plans for just $29 extra per month – and you can pay more to add data as well if required.

It seems like a very good deal, and the best part is the Optus Family Plan is that it’s a month-to-month option, so if you try it and it’s not for you or your family – you can change with no cancellation fees.

The plan also includes bonuses like access to the McAfee Safe Family App offering a range of parental controls – normally $8.99 per month. The Family Plan also includes an Optus Sport subscription & a free 12 month Apple Music trial – as long as you keep your plan.

There’s a lot to like about the Optus Family Plan, with a decent amount of data, and it’s flexible enough to grow with your family if you need it. You can check the details out on the Optus website.
