LG has today announced their new range of affordable K-Series handsets are available to purchase in Australia.

LG is bringing three phone to our shores for this launch, with the K61, K51S and K41S available for $429, $329 and $259 respectively.

The phones include a large display with notch and hole-in designs to house a front-facing camera. LG is using Mediatek octa-core processors for the K-Series with 4GB of RAM for the K61 and 3GB for the K51S and K41S.

All three handsets include a quad-camera array on the rear including a Main sensor with a Wide-Angle, Macro and Depth sensing camera. The main sensor on all three phones supports 4x Pixel binning to offer a condensed shot with more detail. Design wise the phones come with MIL-STD-810G rating which includes making them a good choice for a busy lifestyle, or for one of the kids. They also include a dedicated Google Assistant button, with a fingerprint sensor on the rear.

Disappointingly it appears LG is launching the phones with Android 9.0, an OS which is again about to be superseded with the launch of Android 11 expected later this year.

LG has announced that we’ll only be seeing the phones hitting Australia in Titan Grey, but it looks pretty decent with minimal bezels surrounding the large display.
