Consumer review and comparison website Canstar Blue, has awarded Aussie Broadband their ‘Most Satisfied Customer’ award in their NBN Provider category for the second year running.
The award is a result of the Canstar Blue’s 2020 satisfaction survey, which saw Aussie edging out Westnet and Internode for the top spot. The feedback saw Aussie Broadband awarded five stars for speed and reliability, customer service, value for money and overall customer satisfaction in 2020, though Internode scored well in the ‘Ease of Setup’ and ‘Bill Cost and Clarity’ sections.
Aussie BB Managing Director, Phillip Britt acknowledged the award, giving thanks to his team for their part in achieving the milestone, noting the extraordinary circumstances presented by COVID-19. Mr Britt also noted that ‘customers prefer speaking to someone in Australia for tech support‘, feedback shared by customers with 5-stars in the Customer Service component.
Aussie Broadband has always been fast to offer new options for customers, recently introducing new plans offering speeds up to 1Gbps. The faster speeds are currently on offer for all ‘FTTP premises and some of the HFC network‘ said Mr Britt when announcing the new speed options.
A second year in a row at the top, not bad for a company who has grown from 20,000 customers to 254,000 in the last four years, with over 100,000
of those signing up in the last 12 months. Well done.
