Apple was one of the first companies to close stores earlier this year when the COVID-19 Pandemic happened, and despite re-opening a month ago, today announced all five Victorian stores would be closed from tomorrow.
Apple Highpoint was already closed last week as it was located in a “hotspot” suburb, however the Chadstone, Doncaster, Fountain Gate and Southerland stores will also close following the re-tightening of restrictions in the Greater Melbourne area.
An Apple spokesperson told EFTM “Due to current COVID-19 conditions in some of the communities we serve, we are temporarily closing stores in these areas. We take this step with an abundance of caution as we closely monitor the situation and we look forward to having our teams and customers back as soon as possible. For help with an Apple product, more ways to shop, or additional information on our stores, please visit http://apple.com/retail.”
