Vodafone starts offering ultra fast 1 Gbps and 250 Mbps NBN plans

Vodafone has joined the ultra-fast NBN club, today announcing they’ll begin offering two new fast options for customers willing to pay for it.

From today Vodafone will offer NBN customers the option to connect to their nbn 250 plan for $135 per month or the Ultra nbn plan for $155 per month, both of which come with unlimited downloads.

The plans are month-to-month, with no lock-in contract, and you can source a Vodafone Wi-Fi Hub which also offers 4G back-up to maintain your connection.

That’s the good news, the bad news is you need to be in the right area to be eligible for these ultra-fast.

The offer for faster speeds comes as customers showed a strong uptake on Vodafone’s Premium nbn plans said Vodafone Chief Customer Officer, Ana Bordeianu. ‘Around 40% of our customers have chosen our Premium nbn plan (nbn 100) so we know that there is strong demand for higher speed plans in the Australian market.’

The new plans are also eligible to be bundled with other Vodafone services using their Bundle and Save discount program which sees a sliding scale of discounts of up to 20% off your bill for having up to 5 services on the one plan.

If you’ve been hankering for a speed boost on your NBN plan, then head into your local Vodafone store or contact the Vodafone customer care team through the Vodafone website to see if your home is eligible.
