Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 renders leak showing improved new design

Samsung is expected to unveil their new Galaxy Note 20 and more at their Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5th, but exactly what else we’ll see is a big question. A possibility is their next generation of foldable phone, the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2, but rather than wait for an official unveiling Evan Blass has gotten his hands on the renders for you to check out.

The Galaxy Fold 2 shown off int he renders are in the new Blush Pink colour, as well as the more traditional black.

The most notable visual update to the design is the front display, which is rumoured to be going from the 4.6-inch cover screen on the original will be updated to a larger 6.23-inch size. The internal screen will also be updated with rumours pointing to an update from a 7.3-inch AMOLED Infinity Flex to a 7.7-inch sized display.

Internally the Galaxy Fold 2 could have either a Snapdragon 865+ or Samsung’s home grown Exynos 990 processor, with anywhere up to 512GB of storage. The renders show triple rear cameras, though what specs will be included are still up for discussion, though rumours point to a 64MP + 12MP + 12MP setup with a 10MP selfie camera inside.

Whether we see the Galaxy Fold 2 announced at their event in the wee hours of Thursday morning is anyone’s guess, but we’ll have all the details from their Galaxy Unpacked event ready to go as soon as they announce anything.
