Refurbished Phones selling out at Coles as Boost Mobile deal proves popular

When we reported at the start of the week on Coles’ plan to sell refurbished iPhones was likely to be popular, and it was. EFTM has had reports of the devices selling out in various stores across the country.

In Canberra, our man Dan snapped one up, alongside several other keen shoppers.

Over in Western Australia, disappointed customers found several local Coles Supermarkets had sold out.

EFTM reached out to Coles to see how things were going, with a Coles Spokesperson confirming “The refurbished iPhones have been very popular with customers in the past two days, particularly in NSW, and some of our stores have sold out. “

As we stated in the launch, there isn’t going to be a constant supply of devices here, there’s no factory building them – phones need to be traded in and refurbished before they can make their way to Coles.

Coles confirming that they would be seeking more stock as soon as possible after the early demand “The trial has been very successful and we are working very hard with our supplier to have more refurbished iPhone’s available for customers later this month because we know that there’s a strong demand.”

While Coles might be out of stock, there are several models available on the Boost Mobile Refurbished phone store online.

So, if you’re waiting for Coles to restock, perhaps consider the very same refurbished phones, in fact newer models than even the iPhone 7 Coles were selling, direct from Boost Mobile online.
