You can now add a PS5 to your Vodafone phone plan

It’s PS5 launch day, and if you’ve been wanting options to buy one Vodafone has announced you can now add one to your phone plan.

Vodafone says that customers with two or more eligible services can add a new PS5 console, in either Standard or Digital (no disc drive) editions to their phone plan, paying it off over 12, 24 or 36 months interest free.

As well as the console, DualSense Wireless Controllers and the Media Remote can also be added. There’s a limit of one console per customer, but you can order two DualSense Wireless controllers – and as Trevor pointed out in his review, the controllers are amazing.

The console can be added to your Vodafone plan by calling their Customer Care line on 1300 728 637 from today. Consoles won’t be available until December 15th says Vodafone where they will be available for collection ‘by appointment from their local Vodafone store’.

The announcement is a part of a broader partnership between Sony and Vodafone, with Vodafone’s General Manager of Products and Devices, Arthur Panos saying ‘In the future the partnership with Sony will play a key role in helping Vodafone expand its product lines that directly interface with existing telecommunication services. Coupled with one of our Vodafone nbn services, Sony’s gaming products can open up endless educational, recreational and communication possibilities for our customers and we’re looking forward to seeing it come to life‘.

It’s not a bad deal if you’re looking to get a PS5 in time for Christmas, with most retailers not offering any PS5 consoles ahead of 2021. If you want to jump on it give Vodafone a call and see what you can do.
