After announcing the app would be launching soon late last year, the Apple TV app has landed on the new Chromecast with Google TV.
The app is now showing up as available to download on the new Chromecast for users here in Australia, and around the world.
The Apple TV app includes movies and TV shows you can buy and stream including Wonder Woman 1984 and more. There’s also the option to try out Apple TV+ which includes original content like Ted Lasso for 7 days, and if you like it sign up for A$7.99 per month.
The Apple TV app will also come to Android TV devices, in the future however there’s no word on when that will occur and it’s not showing up on any of my Android TV devices just yet.
If you own a Chromecast with Google TV you can install the app and then start checking it out. If you haven’t got one just yet you can check out what Trevor thought of this great little dongle right here.
Daniel has been talking about, learning about and using tech since he was able to toggle switches and push buttons. If it flashes, turns on or off or connects he wants to use it, talk about it and learn more about it. Like this article? Buy me a coffee!
