OPPO had a hit last year with the Find X2 Pro with it not just selling well but being highly regarding in all facets. Now we eagerly wait for the launch of the follow up to see if OPPO can replicate the success of the Find X2 Pro with the Find X3 Pro.
Next Thursday evening (AEDT) OPPO will launch in Australia but before the official announcement we have seen nearly all details of the launching Find X3 Pro leak overnight. Of course, specs are largely irrelevant when it comes to someone’s smartphone experience but they can give some indication of what to expect.
As you would expect, OPPO have thrown the kitchen sink at the Find X3 Pro with the flagship sporting a 3126 x 1440 pixel (QHD — 526ppi) 6.7-inch AMOLED display which will no doubt be every bit as good as the stunning display in the Find X2 Pro. The display will house an in-display fingerprint sensor and be capable of a refresh rate of 120Hz making for a smooth experience.
Powering the display will be a Snapdragon 888 chipset with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Keeping it powered throughout the day will be a decent 4,500,Ah battery with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging along with some form of wireless charging (let’s hope for 30W AirVOOC).
The big-ticket item, and one that most people at most these days is the rear camera. The rear camera will be made up of four lenses with a wide-angled lens, an ultra-wide angled lens, both of 50MP alongside a 13MP periscope lens and a 5MP microlens. This gives the camera the capability to perform a 5x hybrid zoom and a 20x digital zoom along with ultra-night mode, live HDR and bokeh mode. The selfie camera will be a massive 32MP lens — start practicing your duckfaces.
Other specs leaked include an IP68 water and dust resistant rating allowing you to feel secure you won’t kill it with a splash of water or submerging it for a short period of time. It will support 5G, Wi-Fi AX (Wi-Fi 6), NFC and Bluetooth 5.2. It will arrive in a Blue and Silver colour and be a massive 163.4mm tall and weigh 193 grams.
Of course, all of the above are unofficial leaks but we put a fair bit of stock into this leak. Given that the official launch is next week we won’t have to wait too long for the official reasons to buy this phone.
