Samsung launches new high resolution monitors for that high definition experience

Samsung has today announced their 2021 lineup of high resolution computer monitors with a focus on not just the high resolution display but also on an advanced ergonomic design.

The new monitors, the S6, S7 and S8 all deliver more than a billion colours with support for HDR10 and a massive 178 degree viewing angle — you should be able to get a great view of the monitor no matter where you are viewing it from.

The new monitors also are “Intelligent Eye Care” certified from TUV Rheinland — the first monitors in the industry to receive this certification. They also include Adaptive Picture eye care technology to automatically adjust the brightness and colour temperature of the display based on the room conditions thereby reducing eye strain.

For the environmentally conscious users the monitors are also equipped with Eco Saving Plus technology to reduce power consumption up to 10% by “adjusting the brightness of black sections automatically.

The S6 series includes the flagship S65U 34-inch monitor with an ultra-wide QHD (3440 x 1440) resolution with 1000R curvature — perfect for that immersive experience. They also feature USB-C and LAN connectivity along with a USB Hub, built in Wake On LAN and PBP and PIP.

The S6 series also includes a customisable swivel, tilt and rotation functionality allowing you to find the best viewing angle for you. This series is also available in 32-, 27- and 24-inch sizes.

The S7 series brings 4K UHD resolution in 27- and 32-inch sizes with a slim stand and the same 178 degree viewing angle in a virtually borderless design.

The S8 series also provides 4H UHD resolution and is available in 27- and 32-inch sizes. It supports over 1 billion colours and delivers a 99% sRGB colour gamut bringing a vivid display to life. The 27-inch S8U includes a USB-C port capable of 10Gbps data transmission and 90W charging. These flat displays promise to maximise comfort while minimising distractions.
