ECOVACS receives Canstar Blue 2021 Innovation Excellence Award for their Deebot T9+ robot vacuum

Companies love to receive accolades for their efforts at bringing new products to market and one of the most sought after is the Canstar Blue award. This year Ecovacs joined Samsung as the only two companies acknowledged in the appliance category of the Canstar Blue awards.

The Canstar Blue Innovation Awards assess a brand’s claims about its innovation and how it meets specific consumer needs. Ecovacs successfully demonstrated that the features in the Deebot T9+ addressed the needs and concerns of consumers around dust and airborne allergies and the possibility of cleaning the floor even with items on the floor and being time poor. The T9+ solved these.

Using its TrueDetect 3D 2.0 obstacle avoidance technology the Deebot T9+ can detect and avoid obstacles and objects in real time preventing any cleaning disruptions. The Deebot T9+ also comes with an auto-empty station which minimises the human interaction with the dustbin and allergens within. The result being a set-and-forget cleaning solution, something perfect for the time-poor person.

The Deebot T9+ also distributes scent around the entire house with its built-in air freshener removing musty smells or other odours that may be present in your house. Other features include TrueMap mapping and OZMO Pro 2.0 mopping technology.

Of the award Karen Powell, Head of Australia and New Zealand for Ecovacs Robotics said:

“We are delighted by the recognition received today and feel very honoured to be awarded this Canstar Blue Innovation Award. As leaders in the robotic vacuum category, we pride ourselves on our ongoing innovation and commitment to bring new and exciting developments to home robotics. We have been the leaders in raising the bar in all key areas of functionality, from mapping and mopping technology to battery life, obstacle avoidance and suction power that can be delivered in a robotic vacuum cleaner. And now the DEEBOT T9+ includes these features as well as another industry first with an air freshener.”

The Ecovacs Deebot T9+ is available from JB Hi-Fi, Godfreys Vacuums and The Good Guys for RRP $1,299 and comes with three dust bags and a fragrance capsule in Bluebell scent.
