Sennheiser introduces new CX True Wireless earphones – $199

There’s no doubting the quality of a Sennheiser audio product. Their top of the line headphones, earphones whatever it is – wowsers. But, for some it’s a budget step too far, which is where the CX True Wireless earphones come in, the sound profile you’d expect from Sennheiser in a set of fully wireless earphones priced under $200!

From what I’ve seen of previous generations, the compromise isn’t in the sound, it’s in the materials used to construct the earphones, perhaps in the size or form factor, but you get a great bass sound, clear treble and a really overall neutral sound profile.

Plus, they can be paired with the Sennheiser app for full EQ control.

Anton Zgurskiy, Product Manager at Sennheiser says “The CX True Wireless delivers truly superior sound at an accessible price point,”

“Featuring state-of-the-art technology and offering proven ergonomics, the earbuds have been developed according to user comfort studies. They also offer an outstanding personal audio experience that anyone can enjoy anywhere and every day.”

You’ll get a brilliant 9 hour battery life on the earbuds with up to 27 hours available with the in-case charging.

The outer surface of the buds is touch sensitive, allowing you to customise your controls for voice assistants or track controls, plus there are dual microphones for better voice response on calls.

Available soon in Australia, for $199.95 in matte black or matte white.
