Samsung is ready to unfold what’s next with Galaxy Unpacked on August 11th

A Samsung event has been in the works for a while now, and it’s now official with invites heading out for a virtual Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event on August 11th.

The event will take place at 10am ET in the US, however that converts to 12am August 12th for us back here in Australia. In their invite, Samsung says the event will ‘unfold the next chapter in mobile innovations designed to help you make the most of every moment, no matter where you are’.

Previous Galaxy Unpacked events in August have seen the launch of a new Galaxy Note, however that does not seem to be the case this year. Samsung began moving features like the S Pen to the Galaxy S series, with no indicators that the Note line will continue, at least this year.

What we will see, at least based on the the invite is a new Galaxy Fold. Rumours also point to a new Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Watch 4 (& Galaxy Watch 4 Active) and new Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds being announced.

Anyone wanting to find out what Samsung is announcing on the night can tune in on the Samsung YouTube channel, or check out EFTM when you wake up the next morning.
