Casio has a PAC-Man inspired watch arriving in Australia this month and it looks Awesome!

Wakka, wakka, wakka. The sound of Pac-Man chasing four colourful ghosts around a maze has enthralled many of us for more than fourty years. Now Casio has decided to get a double dose of nostalgia launching an exclusive Casio Vintage x PAC-MAN collaboration watch based on one of their own classics.

The A100WEPC is based on the original Casio F100 watch, the first Casio quartz watch in a resin case which launched in 1978, just a couple of years before PAC-MAN began running the ghost infested maze in 1980.

The Casio Vintage x PAC-MAN watch is inspired by the classic Pac-Man arcade cabinet and features a gold-plated case with the classic Pac-Man game screen and of course Pac-Man himself is depicted chasing Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde – it even has the pink line above the ghost nest where they spawn.

As you can see it’s not just the case that gets the Pac-Man treatment, with the black ion-plated metal band laser-etched with Pac-Man and his crew.

Just like the original F100 watch, the Casio Vintage X PAC-MAN watch has four buttons on the front from which you can access the usual Casio Stopwatch, Alarm and Calendar functionality.

The A100WEPC will hit the Casio Australia website and selected retailers from the end of August where it will be priced at $299.00, though PAC-MAN lovers will need to get in fast with only limited quantities available. You can check the Casio Australia website or keep your eye on the Casio Instagram page.
