Amazon’s second generation Echo Buds are now available in Australia

Late last month Amazon launched their next generation Echo Buds and today they are finally available in Australia.

The second generation true wireless headphones feature a new design along with premium audio architecture for that high quality sound we are all looking for with our headphones. Just as so many other manufacturers are doing this year, the new Echo Buds include Active Noise Cancellation and fast wireless charging to offer a premium audio experience.

The Echo Buds are compact and lightweight and promise comfort that will allow you to wear them the entire day without leaving your ears red raw. To help the fit they come with four ear tip sizes and two wing tip sizes to tailor them to the size of your ears. With Amazon’s ANC and the isolation from a decent fit you can block out what is around with you or you can use the audio pass through feature to hear your surroundings.

As you would expect the ear buds allow you to access Alexa from anywhere using voice commands only. Use Alexa to play all your music, audiobooks and podcasts from Amazon Music, Apple Music or Spotify along with the usual Alexa commands such as reminders, calendar checks or adding items to your shopping list. You can also utilise Alexa to initiate a call to someone as well.

The Echo Buds (2nd Gen) offer five hours of playback on a single charge with the charging case offering another two full charges in it. The case also offers a quick charge feature to allow you to gain two hours of playback from just 15 minutes of charging. The charging case is available in a standard USB-C charging configuration or a USB-C and a Qi wireless charging option.

The all-new Echo Buds are now available in Black for $169 RRP, or $199 RRP for the wireless charging model at www.amazon.com.au/echobuds.
