Logitech G305 mouse – Small, light, and cheap

A mouse is one of the most important parts of having a computer let alone gaming. But some good mice are really expensive. So the Logitech Gaming G305 is a very nice mouse for a very good price.

The Logitech G305 is a lightweight, wireless mouse made by Logitech. The mouse uses Logitech’s Lightspeed wireless allowing you to get the best reaction times in all your games. The weight is just around 100g meaning you can basically tap it, it will move.

The mouse is not huge so those with big hands might have a bit of an uncomfortable grip but after a week or two of use, I came to be used to the mouse’s size. It is still very comfy and compact.

The mouse has 6 different programable buttons that you can use the Logitech G hub software to change all 6 buttons. These 6 buttons include the normal left and right buttons, the scroll wheel button, there is a button just behind the scroll wheel, and the 2 side buttons.

The mouse can also be programmed to have a maximum of 5 speeds which can be useful for using for different applications.

The G305 is battery powered and on the highest settings lasted me 1 and a half months without changing it which can be useful for those who need to use them a lot. The mouse uses its own USB adaptor which can get a bit annoying as that takes up one USB slot but a much better connection than some other mice I have used that are fully Bluetooth.

The Mouse also comes in 6 different colours and designs so you can easily match it to your setup.

The Logitech G305 is available for $99 at JB HI-FI.
