Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 – The most complete wearable health device yet

With the dust settled on the hype of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 announcement, and the competitive market now clear, it’s hard to argue with the credentials of the Watch 4 from a health and fitness perspective.

Given the starting price of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is just $399 it’s remarkable just how much they’ve packed into this wrist mounted computer.

The design of the Watch 4 would be best described as a sleek classic watch, while the Watch 4 Classic is legitimately a classic watch look, just with an AMOLED touch screen for a watch face.

Under the hood though, these watches have the potential to not just help you track your fitness with the obligatory step tracking and movement analysis, its when we look at how far they’ve come from an overall health perspective that is almost mind blowing.

There are three key sensors that enable this. The Optical Heart Rate sensor, the Electrical Heart Sensor and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis sensor.

This combination of sensors allows you to monitor heart rate, blood oxygen level and now for the first time your body composition.
