Spotify has announced that they are finally bringing their real-time lyrics feature to all users, both paid and free, in all countries around the world.
Previously Spotify has offered real-time lyrics only in selected markets, but today they’re bringing it to everyone – including Australia. The feature will roll out on mobile to both Android and iOS devices, as well as to gaming consoles, Smart TVs and desktops.
Partnering with Musixmatch, Spotify users will be able to access lyrics for the majority of tracks included in the Spotify library. Spotify offers users over 70 million titles including podcasts, while Musixmatch says they offer lyrics for 8 million tracks.
Lyrics will be available from today to all Spotify users. To activate the new Lyrics feature across your apps, desktop and Smart TV, Spotify has included instructions for all three:
On the Spotify mobile app
On the Spotify desktop app
On the SpotifyTV app
