DIY Security specialists Swann has announced they’re expanding their range with the launch of the Swann Buddy Video Doorbell and Swann Alert Sensor range.
The new affordable range of sensors is perfect for home, small business and rentals, adding complete peace of mind.

The Swann Buddy Video Doorbell is 100% Wireless with long battery life and priced at a very affordable $199. The doorbell comes chock full of features including 2-way chat, 1080p FullHD video capture with a high vertical view and 110° wide viewing angle that will allow you to see packages on the doorstep. The doorbell includes heat and motion sensing to aid in detection, with Night Vision offering you the chance to see what’s lurking in the night.
As with most Swann offerings, the Swann Buddy Video Doorbell comes with both local (32GB microSD card included in pack) and cloud backup storage options to ensure you can save and view your videos where you want them.

The doorbell integrates into the Swann Security app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and will alert you on your phone with push notifications for any activity, but also comes with a chime that includes a choice of six different sounds to play when you don’t have your phone with you around the house.
Adding to their security options, Swann have also announced a new range of alert sensors which allow for easy entry into the Swann eco-system of security products. The three new sensors are all able to connect to Wi-Fi and sync with the app, and run on either AA or AAA batteries, while the mains powered indoor siren adds a loud siren with four selectable tones.
First up is the Window/Door Alert Sensor which will detect movement at window and door frames. A Motion Alert Sensor with PIR (Passive Infrared) to monitor heat and movement and finally, a Leak Alert Sensor to detect water leakage and flooding.
The Indoor Siren integrates with the new Alert Sensors to let you know when any of these trip. The Siren includes selectable alert sounds and warnings, with adjustable volume levels and optional flashing lights to deter intruders or you can use in silent mode to simply warn you when something has occurred.
The new Swann Buddy Video Doorbell and the new Alert Sensor range and Siren will be available from the 3rd of November through swann.com and leading retailers.
