ASUS is bringing their more powerful ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro to Australia this month

Electronics manufacturer ASUS has announced their refreshed ASUS ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro are coming to Australia. Pre-orders are now open for the two gamer focused handsets, with sales set to start on December 16th.

Announced earlier this year, the ASUS ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro refresh the already powerful ASUS ROG Phone 5 with a new, more powerful Snapdragon 888 Plus processor, as well including Wifi 6E for faster wireless connectivity and a faster touch sampling on the 6.78-inch display, with a 360Hz touch-sampling rate, as opposed to 300Hz on the standard ROG Phone 5.

The ROG Phone 5s Pro also features a colour version of the innovative ROG Vision rear matrix display, which can be customised to show animations in response to a variety of system events.

There’s differences between the models, with additional RAM in the 5s Pro and a ROG Vision rear matrix colour display on ROG Phone 5s Pro.

You can pre-order the ASUS ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro from today through JB Hifi in Australia, and PB Tech in New Zealand. Pricing for the ROG Phone 5s starts at $1,699AUD/$1,799NZD, while the ROG Phone 5s Pro starts at $1,899AUD/$1,999NZD.
