Season One of Ted Lasso really introduced us to how Apple TV+ could rival the establishment of streaming TV.
Here was a show that was made just for Apple TV+, great cast, great story line.
But Season Two really took that and ran with it. In a year where things didn’t go back to normal as many might have hoped, and was marred by plenty of downs, Ted Lasso offered a genuinely uplifting experience.
It’s the kinda wholesome content that the world needs more of. Perhaps not the Coach Beard episode, but generally, just a great storyline, heartwarming.
The entertainment value was 100/100 – so it wins our award for EFTM Best Entertainment 2021.
