Nextbase iQ is the always connected 4K dash Cam you need

The need for a dash cam is almost universal, but at CES 2022 NextBase are announcing the world’s first truly smart and fully connected Dash Cam, the Nextbase iQ.

The Nextbase iQ offers all the features you’d expect from a smart home monitoring system including the ability to receive real-time alerts and access incident video through the iQ app.

The featureset of the Nextbase iQ includes some great features starting with the NXT Dual Link Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity which gives you access to incident videos and alerts as they occur – or even let you tune in to the Live View from anywhere in the world.

The Nextbase iQ includes up to 4K recording using a three-camera video setup, with 4k capture up-front and 1440p recording in rear and cabin views both day or night.

There’s even a ‘Witness mode’ that you can verbally activate when you feel the need to record, that will automatically be saved to the cloud and shared with an emergency contact or other designated third party in real-time, ensuring you never face a stressful situation on the road alone.

Richard Browning, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer for Nextbase said

Never before has there been a smart connected-car product that offers so much benefit in one package. We have bettered our already best-in-class Dash Cam functionality and added never-before-seen technology to support drivers, whether they are on the road or away from their vehicle.”

There’s a promo website for the Nextbase iQ in the US, but so far no launch date or pricing as yet. Nextbase Dash Cams are available from leading retailers including Repco, The Good Guys, Officeworks, Bing Lee, and Camera House

EFTM’s coverage of CES 2022 is supported by Intel, Vodafone, LG, Samsung and Hisense
