Portable projector from Samsung offers a 100 inch screen for just $1,499

This evening in Las Vegas Samsung revealed another gem from their 2022 Audio Visual range, a portable projector capable of producing a 100 inch screen and it costs just $1,499.

The Samsung Freestyle is its name and it’s a projector that looks like no other. Looks more like a pot plant or a portable speaker in some ways, but tilt it over, point it at the wall and plug in a device that outputs video and hey presto – big screen!

This is targeted fair and square at millennials, because it’s also a Smart Speaker, and ambient light.

It’s unique design means it can be rotated 180 degrees making anything your screen.

“The Freestyle is a one-of-a-kind projector geared towards ultimate versatility and flexibility to meet the consumers’ changing lifestyles,” said Simon Sung, Executive Vice President and Head of the Sales & Marketing Team of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “Without the limitation in space and form factor, The Freestyle is a fun and versatile device that can be used in any way consumers prefer.”

Critically, it’s also smart. Fully automatic Keystone and auto levelling, meaning you can almost literally point and shoot.

It is compatible with many batteries meaning it’s ready for your camping trip with the family.

Oh, and it has the Samsung TV operating system built in, so all your streaming platforms are there to use.

Pre-orders for the Samsung Freestyle kick off in Australia from 17th January while the product goes on-sale from February 7 at $1,499.
