The single best streaming gadget on the market just got better with a new HD version of the Chromecast with Google TV now available for just $59.
Two years ago Google took a big leap forward with their Chromecast technology moving from the original “dongle” that required your Smartphone, Tablet or PC to initiate the stream and then “cast” it up onto your TV, to an all-in one connected dongle that has it’s own remote, operating system and apps.
We love it. And have continually called it one of the best gadgets on the market.
Today, Google brings that technology to more people with a more affordable version of the Chromecast with Google TV in HD.
So what you don’t get is 4K resolution.
What you do get is the same device otherwise, same operating system and smarts so for some it’s the perfect entry to the smart streaming world.
By the looks of the Google store it also appears the original 4K version at $99 is back in three colours, while the HD model is only available in white.
So, no more excuses, Chromecast with Google TV now available at just $59!
