Google will show off the Pixel 7, Pixel Watch and more on October 7th

After pre-announcing the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel Watch at Google I/O earlier this year, Google have today announced that their yearly hardware event will be held in early October.

The Made by Google event will streamed live from New York through their YouTube channel at 1am AEDT on October 7th here in Australia, which means an early morning start for Australian Pixel fans. Google’s social media pages have announced the event, with a teaser video, as well as with a link to an event page on the Google Store where you can sign up for notifications.

At the event we’ll see more details on the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro phones which are expected to use the next generation Tensor processor, as well as the new Pixel Watch and any Wear OS 3.0 enhancements Google will include on their first branded smart watch.

As to what else we’ll see at the event, rumours have been circulating about a new Wi-Fi 6E enabled Google Nest Mesh Wifi system, as well as a lower cost Google TV Chromecast aimed at HD resolution TVs, which has apparently already been past the FCC in the US. We may even get more details on the Pixel tablet that is due to launch next year.

We’ll have all the details for everything that Google announces for you bright and early on October 7th, so stay tuned.
