Sony unveils PSVR2 pricing, release date & more games

Sony has unveiled the pricing and release date for the hotly anticipated PSVR2 overnight, with the bundle set to launch on February 22nd next year priced at $879.95 AUD. The PSVR2 will also be sold bundled with the Horizon Call of the Mountain for $959.95 AUD.

The PSVR2 base bundle will go up for pre-order in Australia and the majority of countries around the world on November 15th.

The PSVR2 bundle will include PS VR2 headset, PS VR2 Sense controllers and stereo headphones, while the Call of the Mountain bundle will also include a PlayStation Store voucher code for Horizon Call of the Mountain game. 

Additionally, Sony have announced the PlayStation VR2 Sense controller charging station, which will allow players to charge the PS VR2 Sense controller through a simple click-in design, without having to connect to a PS5 console which will be priced at .95AUD. 

Sony has also announced an additional 11 titles for PSVR2 in addition to the existing titles previously announced which include Resident Evil Village and Horizon Call of the Mountain. The new titles include:

  • The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR
  • Crossfire: Sierra Squad
  • The Light Brigade
  • Cities VR
  • Cosmonious High
  • Hello Neighbor: Search and Rescue
  • Jurassic World Aftermath Collection
  • Pistol Whip VR
  • Zenith: The Last City
  • After The Fall
  • Tentacular

Bundles are expected to go up for pre-order at the usual suspects, including The Gamesmen, JB Hifi, EB Games on November 15th.
