Apple’s App Store is second to none in its quality which is why it is interesting to see which apps top the Store each year. Apple has announced the winners of the 2022 App Store Awards with a highlight on 16 specific apps to help users get the most out of their devices.
“This year’s App Store Award winners re-imagined our experiences with apps that delivered fresh, thoughtful and genuine perspectives,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “From self-taught solo creators to international teams spanning the globe, these entrepreneurs are making a meaningful impact, and represent the ways in which apps and games influence our communities and lives.”
The apps heading the awards are chosen by Apple’s global App Store editorial team on their ability to deliver “exceptional experiences” while also “making a profound cultural impact.”
The apps represent a number of diverse apps with various focuses and actual uses. Apps chosen includes BeReal which is a new social app that gives users a look into the lives of their family and friends, Gentler Streak to help users balance fitness and rest for a balanced, healthy lifestyle. Note taking is taken to the next level with GoodNotes 5 while MacFamilyTree 10 offers the ability to explore genealogy through visual family trees and the ability to collaborate with family around the world.
Games are of course not forgotten with Apex Legends Mobile, puzzle game Moncage, storytelling with card-style Inscryption and more. For the full list of apps and games check it out below. These lists are always a great way to discover new, innovative apps so we highly recommend you check them out.
