Budget priced Huawei FreeBuds 5i now available in Australia with ANC and more

Huawei today has announced their latest  True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds with the FreeBuds 5i now available in Australia.

The FreeBuds 5i improve on the previous FreeBuds 4i model which launched in 2021, with the new earbuds offering both shorter stems, and in a more lightweight form-factor, weighing in at just 4.9g. The earbuds come in three colour options: ‘Isle Blue’, ‘Nebula Black, and ‘Ceramic White’.

The earbuds offer exceptional value at just $159, offering IP54 dust and water resistance and a bunch of features including Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Dual Device connectivity to connect to multiple devices including PC’s, Smartphones, Tablets, watches, touch controls and more. 

The sound quality is excellent, with the FreeBuds 5i delivering crystal clear audio with its 10mm dynamic driver unit. The buds also include a ‘smart AEM EQ’ which can sense the shape of your ear canal and auto-adjust the Equaliser settings to provide a personalised listening experienced which is optimised for your ears.

The FreeBuds 5i  earbuds come with a convenient charge case, charging and protecting the earbuds when not in use. Huawei say that the buds can now offer up to 28 hours of battery life using the case – up from 22 hours on the previous model.

If you want to get hands on the FreeBuds 5i, you can grab them from Amazon and in person through Huawei Authorised Experience Stores in Sydney and Melbourne. As a bonus for those grab a pair before March 30 you can also nab yourself a HUAWEI Scale 3 as a gift with the purchase valued at $79.
