Samsung to unveil new Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 on July 26th

Samsung have announced the date for the unveiling of their next Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 with the launch scheduled for 9pm July 26th.

As previously announced, the Galaxy Unpacked event will be held in Seoul, South Korea and as usual you’ll be able to tune in on Samsung’s YouTube channel

Titled ‘Join the Flip Side’ we’re expecting to see the latest Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip handsets, as well as the new Galaxy Watch6 running WearOS.

Details on the devices are already leaking with the Galaxy Flip5 expected to have an improved hinge allowing it to lay flat, and a larger 3.4” external display. The Galaxy Z Fold5 isn’t expected to change too drastically, retaining the same taller form factor however the hinge is expected to be improved when folding shut.

The Galaxy Watch6 is expected to improve battery life over last years model, as well as adding in a larger display with curved glass and also the return of the rotating bezel. It is expected to run Google’s WearOS 3.5.

There is also the possibility we’ll see new Galaxy Tablets in the form of the Galaxy S Tab 9 series which is expected to come in three versions including a Plus and Ultra.

For Aussies, the Australian Samsung website is now taking registrations of interest with eligible fans able to nab themselves a $100 bonus trade-in credit OR bonus Battery Pack valued at $59.

We’ll be bringing you all the latest from Samsung as it launches so stay tuned on July 26th.
