Apple has introduced the second generation of the AirPods Pro bringing with them new USB-C charging capabilities, an even better quality sound experience, more effective Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and an expanded ear tip range for an even better fit.
The new AirPods Pro (2nd generation) include the USB-C connector and can now be charged directly from any of the new iPhone 15 smartphones announced today.
They now feature an improved IP54 rating for better dust resistance alongside the ability to use 20-bit 48 kHz Lossless Audio sources with a massive reduction in audio latency. Already one of the best sounding earbuds on the market, the new AirPods Pro are even better thanks to these new capabilities.
Paired with iOS 17 the new adaptive mode dynamically blends Transparency mode and ANC based on the wearer’s environment. Also with iOS 17 is conversational awareness which lowers the content volume when the user begins speaking to someone, and personalised volume with uses machine learning to understand environmental conditions and volume selections to automatically fine tune the volume for you based on where you are and your previous volume preferences based in that location and environment.
The Apple AirPods Pro (2nd generation) with MagSafe Charging Case (USB-C) will be available for RRP $399 from Friday September 22. EarPods (USB-C) are also available with order open now on the Apple website and instore.
