At the Melbourne EV Show 2023 today Audi announced the upcoming availability of the Q4 e-tron in Australia while at the same time showing off their new Q8 e-tron and the e-tron GT.
The Audi Q4 e-tron is a mid-sized SUV — think a size slightly bigger than the Q3 (hence the 4 in the name) — that will arrive in Australia in both SUV and sportback styles so customers can choose whichever they prefer.
Audi unveiled Q4 concept cars in 2019 in Europe and now it is making it into production and while the exact specification and drivetrains are yet to be confirmed, the Q4 e-tron will be distinctively Audi-styled offering Audi owners familiarity.
While the Q4 e-tron has been available in Europe for 18 months it is yet to make its way here with limited stock heading to markets with prioritised CO2 emissions — something the Australia government is apparently looking to introduce soon.
Expected to arrive Downunder mid-2024 pricing of the Audi Q4 e-tron is yet to be confirmed but rumours have it starting around the $90,000 mark with stock levels expected to be more than just a trickle.
You can register your interest in the upcoming Q4 e-tron now to be notified of updates and availability.
The Audi Q8 55 e-tron and RS e-tron GT also made an appearance an appearance at the Melbourne EV Show this weekend. The models and styles shown off will make even the more traditional ICE lovers salivate at the thought of owning one.
Both of these models are available to buy now and if you are located in Melbourne head on down to the Melbourne EV Show on at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (Jeff’s shed) this weekend to see them in person.
